About this event
What do you do with family letters, papers, photos? Archive them in a book? Turn them into art? MCC member Nor Hall will share the approach she took in preserving turn-of-the century letters of her grandfather, Dr. Henry Smith Leiper, a statesman, missionary, architect, writer, musician and teacher who famously taught Mao Tse Tung how to play tennis. The evening will include a reading, photos and a display of ways tangible items are made into art, followed by refreshments. Nor Hall, writer, performance researcher and archetypal psychologist, will be hosted by her friend, artist Harriet Bart.
