New insights into how memory is encoded, consolidated, and later retrieved have led to a better understanding of how we learn.  Peter Brown will read from the book “Make it Stick:  The Science of Successful Learning,” a book which will appeal to all those interested in the challenge of lifelong learning and self-improvement.  Peter Brown is a writer and novelist who wrote the book with two leading experts in learning and memory at Washington University in St. Louis.
