About this event
80% of a child’s brain development happens in the first five years of life. These early years are when curiosity blossoms, language takes root, and the foundation for lifelong learning is built. They are also when achievement gaps begin, quietly and far too early.
Join U of M professor Art Rolnick and Cisa Keller, CEO of Think Small, for a talk that connects research, lived experience, and real-world impact. Art will make the case for early childhood investment as both a moral imperative and one of the most powerful drivers of long-term economic prosperity. Cisa will bring that case to life through Think Small’s work across Minnesota, highlighting how coordinated efforts to support families and educators, alongside educating and engaging policymakers, create stronger early care and education systems and better outcomes for children.
Together, they will explore what becomes possible when we invest early, align across sectors, and take collective action to ensure every child and every community has the opportunity to thrive.
This program has been cancelled due to low attendance.
