About this event
The Tent of Nations is a Christian Palestinian-owned farm in the West Bank, described by New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof as being run by “followers of Martin Luther King Jr.” MCC member Bill Davnie recently spent a month there serving as a “protective presence,” supporting the family as they face ongoing efforts to force them from land they have owned since 1916. Bill will share his personal experience and reflections, along with the farm’s history, the reasons behind its strong international support, and the challenges that continue to shape its uncertain future.
Note: This program reflects Bill Davnie’s personal experiences and perspectives and does not represent the views of MCC.
