About this event
Join us for an important and timely conversation with Alison Beckman of the Center for Victims of Torture (CVT), an organization dedicated to healing survivors of torture and supporting communities impacted by trauma.
In the wake of recent immigration enforcement efforts, including Operation Metro Surge, CVT has been actively working to support immigrant communities across the Twin Cities. Alison will share insights into the initiatives and actions CVT is taking to provide care, advocacy, and resources during this period. She will also offer perspective on emerging issues affecting immigrant communities.
This conversation will provide a deeper understanding of the challenges many immigrants are facing today, as well as the compassionate, community-based responses working to address them.
