About this event
Join us for a special afternoon with MCC member Mary Thompson, and her two charming therapy dogs, Will and Rose. Mary will share the story of how her lifelong love of golden retrievers began, along with a bit of the history of pet therapy and the meaningful role dogs can play in bringing comfort and connection. What started with a golden retriever on stage in 1980 has grown into a life shared with nine beloved goldens, each raised from puppyhood. Today, Mary, Will, and Rose work as therapy dog teams, offering companionship and a quiet kind of joy to those who need it most.
Note: Mary’s therapy dogs, Will and Rose, will be part of the program.
