About this event
Discover how the former Gaviidae retail building was transformed in 2018 into a vibrant, multi-level YMCA featuring fitness spaces, group exercise studios, a swimming pool, basketball court, meeting rooms, and a rooftop area. Join us for a guided tour led by Eric Klingaman, the YMCA’s Community Engagement Director, who will highlight the facility’s offerings and share information on fitness options and classes tailored for seniors. Once you arrive, please meet at the welcome desk on the third floor.
Parking: The Gaviidae Commons parking ramp is located directly below the Douglas Dayton YMCA facility. Current parking rates are displayed on the ticket kiosk. The YMCA is located on the third floor and is accessible via the elevator nearest the garage entrance.
On-street metered parking is available on S. 6th Street, S. 7th Street and S. Marquette Avenue.
