About this event

Evan Ramstad, business columnist for the Star Tribune, will discuss the economic impact of the Trump administration. He’ll examine how tariffs and immigration restrictions have contributed to this year’s slowdown in economic growth. While much of the focus in Minnesota has been on farmers, Ramstad notes that the sharpest decline has been in sales to Canada—the state’s largest trading partner—and he predicts that some of the most significant effects will be felt next year.
