Join us for an insightful program with Dr. Michael Osterholm, who will examine the current state of public health and the forces shaping its future. Dr. Osterholm will discuss the release of his new book, The Big One, and reflect on the key lessons we must carry forward from the pandemic, as well as answer questions from the audience on where public health stands today.
An epidemiologist, Regents Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy, Dr. Osterholm brings decades of expertise to this timely conversation.
The program will be moderated by MCC member Ruth Mickelsen, an expert in health law and policy and public health ethics, and former colleague of Dr. Osterholm at the School of Public Health.
A short reception will follow the program, and guests are welcome.
On-street metered parking is available, as well as two parking ramps located near McPhail.
