Join us as we hear from MN Supreme Court Associate Justice Gordon L. Moore, III. Justice Moore will discuss his path from an attorney in one of Minnesota's most diverse rural communities to an office that serves as the last resort in cases filed in Minnesota courts. Justice Moore will discuss the process for accepting appeals from the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the relationship between the Minnesota and U.S. Supreme Courts, and examples of cases where Minnesota constitutional law differs from Federal law. He will present some recent Minnesota cases of impact, as well as touch on frequently asked questions about Minnesota Supreme Court Justices.
You are invited to stay after the program for social time with beverages and light snacks.
