About this event
The Herschel V. Jones Print Study Room at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (Mia) provides access to works on paper not currently on view from the European, Art of the Americas, and Contemporary Global Departments. These include over 40,000 prints, 6,000 drawings and watercolors, and 600 artist books. The collection is particularly strong in Old Masters and archives of major Midwest print centers. From Rembrandt to Warhol to pieces made last year, we've got something to amaze, surprise, and inspire everyone! Join us as we explore the gems of this room and get a close up view of masterpieces.
Registration deadline is Monday, January 6, 12:00 pm. This tour is limited to 18 people.
Enter through the main entrance to Mia and then cut across the Target Courtyard, coming in the Target Entrance on the other side. The Print Study is immediately to the right down the stairs or ramp. There is a closet in the Print Study room for coats and bags.
