About this event
Retired librarian Nancy Vaillancourt has spent years researching the presence of the Ku Klux Klan throughout Minnesota. The stated goal of the Klan was to establish a unit in each of Minnesota's 87 counties. Find out how close they came to this goal. Information on the KKK in Minneapolis will be included. This forgotten history reflects on the organized traditions of prejudice and nativism in Minnesota.
