About this event
Learn about the ongoing efforts of Owámniyomni Okhódayapi to make Dakota people visible in their homeland. The nonprofit is currently working to transform five acres of land at Owámniyomni (St. Anthony Falls) into a place of restoration, education, healing and connection. This work connects the restoration of the natural environment with the revitalization of Dakota lifeways. Join us as we hear from Owámniyomni Okhódayapi President Shelley Buck, Program Director Barry Hand, and Project Advisor Kjersti Duval.
