Minnesota aims to be the best state in the nation for children. Yet every two weeks, a child is killed due to abuse or neglect. Many of these deaths are preventable. We can do better. We must do better.

The Star Tribune recently published a 3-part series about the need to better protect Minnesota’s children from abuse and neglect.

While the problem is multi-faceted, many people believe the state’s child protection system is skewed too much toward protecting abusers rather than the abused. One example is interviewing children in front of their alleged abusers.

Join us as we hear from Safe Passages for Children's Interim Executive Director, Melissa DeBilzen as she discusses what the organization is doing to create meaningful changes and learn how you can help.

Due to low attendance, this program has been cancelled!
